My question is I have deleted my EGR and now I have several codes that keep showing up can I have the EGR system turned off or is there a plug I can buy and fool the system??

You can get a tuner that will take care of those codes. I do not know which one or ones.

I don't get into the aftermarket stuff but I do know you need and aftermarket tuner/programmer to bypass that emissions monitor with a custom calibration.

Good to hear, simple fix to ignore that monitor so it doesn't set a dtc.

Wouldn't it work to hook up the EGR but just leave it laying on the motor zip tied off to something?

No, there is a egr monitor that checks flow. It uses iat2 and ebp to check for flow mainly among other sensor inputs and would be complex to fool the pcm. This is where the custom tune come in handy!
