7.3 IDI Bronco Conversion

I have a big monster-truck `79 bronco, I just got an 92 f-350 truck and was wanting to rebuild the 7.3 in the truck, throw a turbo kit on it and swap it into the bronco, electrically it looks pretty easy (on 12v con. to run.) Has any body done this or know of somebody that has, please share any info.

I dont know of anyone thats done it right now, but it cant be any different than droping a 3.9 turbo diesel into a CJ7 wrangler

Oh, its been done alright..... By none other than the IDI guru Mel Agne himself.

Some of Mels info. He has a ton of info over at Oilburners. His conversion is into an 87 and he did it with a 6.9L, however..... it should pretty much be the same conversion you are interested in doing.
