7.3 Starting Issue

my 2003 did the same thing!! It was the connection inside the valve cover!! the last idiot mechanic broke the clip, so it raddled loose! I bought a new one, 54$ fix

Yeap, it was the one inside the valve cover on mine too.

No engine light. It just ran like crap intermittently.......like one or two cylinders were dead (they were).
