'92 7.3 Turbo IDI...Fuel Filter Light

My neighbor has the above listed truck....Fuel Filter Light came on today...He changed the fuel filter...its still on....I think he said that as he accelerates the light glows brighter...

I really know very little aboutthe details of the IDI...Any advice gentlemen???

the manual says to drain the water collection device. I have the same truck. if he has a manual for it, there is a nice diagram showing how to do it.

If he has a '92 Turbo, it is aftermarket and not stock. Ford/International did not put on turbo's before '94/95.

i meant to say i have the same engine...but different truck year. if it's an international 7.3L turbo...then you have to drain the water collection device. it looks very easy although i haven't had to do it yet.
