After reading the forum topic regarding the mod for altering the HPOP area whereas not to have to use the accumulator setup, I just thought since there where no pics of the "Nit" accumulator, that I would post a few pics.

I've been using the accumulator now for a couple of years with no ill effects, with the 2002 HPOP and Mini-Me injectors, and it works great for those interested.

A big thanks to "Nit" (Craig) for taking the time to build this unit to fit our early Powerstrokes.

I believe you may be able to click on the image to see a larger view. Gauge shows from 50 to 60 Psi of constantly held pressure.
The solenoid is activated when the glow plug relay is energized, and allows the oil in accumulator to flow into the HPOP reservior. Once the engine has started, the accumulator tank is again refilled from engine oil pressure, and once the glow plug relay shuts off the solenoid closes the solenoid, holding the refilled accumulator for the next time it's needed.

although it may work fine for those that use it or those that may use it i dont like the looks of it.dont get me wrong i aint badmouthing it but i like things that somewhat looks like it belongs there.it all comes down to personal preference.just my idea is cheap and easy all it will cost is for the parts needed and a few tools.
