I went to start my truck tonight and it was ideling funny, I put it in drive and I heard it pop a fuse, It is the fuse that controls the wait to start. Is this what controls the glow plugs? What can be wrong? Thanks for your help....

no all it is a factory timer that tells you when your glow plugs have heated up long enough. can you go through your fuse panel and look if any of them is blown.

Yes, Its the one that powers up the (wait to start) and whatever is linked to that. It had blown a few days ago during cranking, I replaced it and ran fine for 3-4 days, now it blows out as soon as turn the ignition on....

I thinks it's the PCM fuse AND the fuel bowl heater fuse. Unplug the heater bowl and check it out to see if the little wire is loose, if so do a search for 7.3l INTERNATIONAL fuel bowl heater to replace it. Worlds of difference in size and performance....

the IHC one is about half the price of Ford's..
some debate on whether or not the fuel bowl will need to be modified to accept it.. some guys say it's bolt-in, the wiki article says "chisel & hammer"
