A new alternative fuel method?

My father in law sent me a link to this stuff and thought I'd share it with the group

Diesel Secret

After a little bit of googling I found out more about it;
Here's what needs to be added per 50 gallons of veggie oil
- 5 gallons / 10% kerosene
- 2.5 gallons / 5% unleaded gasoline
- power service additive 37 oz octaine boost for diesel at www.powerservice.com/
- DSE secret 8.5 oz. contains: xylene, napthalene, naptha

Most of that stuff I wouldn't get near my truck

Octaine boost for diesel? I may buy a bottle and see how it does just for the hell of it. I'll have to wait unitl March to do so.

I've gone back to Power service now that I've run out of Rotella DFA.

The only thing in that formula I would be worried about is the unleaded. As far as the Kerocene a lot of DFA's have Kerocene in them. For that matter Ford's new Motorcraft DFA is mostly Kerocene.

On several other forums that are into bio-diesel and WVO, have this as snake oil. I have never researched it other then reading what some forums had to say about it. Like your research found out you don't want to put some of that in your truck anyway.

I use Cetane booster. I bought a case of it sometme ago. A quart will treat up to 250 gallons. Depending how many points you want to increase your fuel. I find it works great. Engine runs much better with it.
