Well I thought I might luck out on replacing the rear ABS sensor 39K miles.

It was the LH front sensor 2 Hrs labor and 60 for the sensor.

On the rear sensor , had to pry mine out , and had to sand the inside of the rusty housing to get the new one in without ripping the o-ring.

Just some info to think about , it's not always the easy rear sensor.

I also have the mystery ABS light all the time. Thanks for that tidbit. Any difficulties replacing a front sensor in the driveway, or worth paying a shop?

bomberman - I would pay the shop , unless you can trace which sensor it is , You also have to pull the brakes apart to get to the sensor .

Not really sure but I was told that if the ABS light comes on and it is not a brake issue (like the brakes are okay) that there is a problem with the charging system. When mine was staying on the alternator was going bad (low voltage) to battery.
