Active duty military personnel can now add nine more RV parks in five states where they can stay free under the Tents for Troops program. The new sites are located in Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Arizona, and Washington. Git'n away for the weekend was alwayz a nice break.. when I was on Active Duty.

I passed this on to the MWR Director, at NAS Lemoore, Ca. They were totally unaware of the "Tents for Troops" efforts.. They ARE now though..

One of the listed Campgrounds is only 50 miles from the Base. Very Nice, well maintained place, right on the Kaweah river.. Good Fish'n spot too.

Some of us 'ol Retired Military.. are To Damn Proud... to even approch that kinda stuff Wayne....

But, in our travels 'round this Great Country.. It Has been offered several times.. Nice, but not really necessary.. when it's happened. For me anywayz.
