no need to be nervous! its EZ as sunday morning. As an eternal n00b and nervous nelly, the only advice you really need is to take it slow and DO NOT FORCE ANYTHING! take your time. DO NOT BREAK THE FPR CAP! you will be SOL w/o one!

you DO have a gauge to check pressures before and after right?
also, make sure you read the wiki on the right truck- bb in a SD puts the pressure way to high!

if you get stuck or wig out, come here and see who is around. bottom of the main forums page shows you who is online. you propably recognize some of the more learned folks by name- right click to PM them and ask them politely to meet you in Flashchat for trouble shooting. and go to Flashchat and wait. I have asked for help this way a couple of times- mostly cuz i needed a bit of encouragement not having done any of these things myself either.

general consensus is that HPX is a good thing, and will help smooth out the engine. get one from a sponsor or a known good dealer- there seems to be a higher incidence of lines failing due to improperly crimped hoses. dealer will also propably include caps to keep in the truck incase the line/orings go bad so you can cap it and limp home.

pretty much worth it- get the engine to a happier temperature place. diesels in general >like< 200 degrees. you will at least also need a new gasket and housing. $3 tube of waterpump RTV is good too.

good luck
