After 30 years, it runs again

This a 71 Polaris TX Racer that I raced in the early 70's. I never got rid of it & finally decided to get it running again to run it in the "Tired Iron Race" that will be on the 8th of March. I Had some trouble getting some of the engine parts I needed , but it all came together in the last month. The numbers are the one from when it raced in '72-'73. The engine is a 335 free-air, twin Mikuni Carbs, Tuned exhaust pipes.

Just in the Tired Iron Race here that is put on by the local Ski-doo dealer. This year's is the 3rd that they've had. The machines have to be 1975 or older. It's alot of fun.

Man that sled is in great shape, no ruined seat and the hood and belly pan are all in one piece. Looks like a perfect candidate for a full on restoration.
