Hello from sweltering Soflo, very first post! Purchased my first diesel 6 months ago and I need/want to replace my braking system in the truck. 6" lift w/ 38" tires. Would very much appreciate any experienced recommendations on brands/part # of pads, rotors (slotted/drilled/smooth) Can I keep the stock calipers? Stainless lines. Has anyone done this themselves and can I do it in the driveway? Thanks for any input and good to be here.

You can do it yourself and in your driveway. I can't see any good reason to go to bigger discs. Slotted discs or drilled discs are better than stock. I run stock discs and pads and I have no stopping problems, and I tow at times. Stainless steel lines for dress or corrosion? Your choice. :dunno

Stainless lines should give a firmer pedal because stock lines will swell under pressure. Cryoed rotors last longer when run with ceramic or high performance pads
