Air bag light

[Damn Dummy]

Out of nowhere my truck's air bag light started flashing. The manual said "take to dealer immediately" I don't feel like getting ripped off by a dealership, but I don't know much about air bags. Anyone have an ideas? Thanks

My guess is the indent spring in the steering column.
