air box sensor?

ok i installed the budget intake (aka: diy tymar) whats the sensor in the airbox for? should i leave it outside the new filter or put it inside?

That's an air intake temp sensor. You can just zip-tie that to the fender to keep it out of the way. You can put it in a plastic baggie if you like to keep it clean (I didn't..)

Yep just mount it close to the filter with a zip-tie..

do as said above. the sensor will push in when your filter is too dirty, but with the diy intake it is useless so just put it somewhere. it won't matter really.

He is asking about the air intake temp sensor that is mounted in the stock box not the filter restriction gauge.
