yes it was +22 and we still had snow

I got stuck pretty bad...it was deep

The tank strapped to the windshield was for gas....the guys fuel pump died and he was gravity feeding the carb.... he made it back to town like that.

Were the jeeps locked on both ends?
Is your SD locked on both ends?
I wonder, why you drove off into the first mud pit...mud is no more than 'liquid sandpaper', I have no problem going through it when I have to but I don't go looking for it. If you do you'll eventually get a LOT more than you bargened for!!
