Question Are 08' and 06' beds interchangeable?

I'm looking to swap and 08 bed on to an 06 and I was wondering if it is possible and how much work is involved in doing that? Also what other parts are and are not interchangeable? Thanks.

Tail lights are different. You may need to splice some wiring. Everything else is a direct swap. If you can find a tailgate with camera, I posted a thread about how to make it work.

Wheel openings are bigger on the 08's but other then that its pretty much the same.
