Ok, I have a question about the operation of the auto-loc hubs. When I replaced my front bearings on the X, I noticed afterwards that I could not turn one axle (drivers side) and the other one I can turn (it does not lock at the diff or the wheel hub). Now the question is??? Should I be able to turn the axle when not in 4wd or with the hubs manually locked? Isn't that the purpose of the auto-loc hubs?
I re-call that we compared my X to CHP's X and both of his would not turn. 1 of mine turn and not the other. Does that mean that the hubs are not dis-engaging? Bill/everyone what is your opinion on this?
