Been looking for a 30 gal. auxiliary tank for my truck. Crap these thing cost some cash. I would build my own but cant find the alum. filler neck and other drain valves.
Have any other ideas?

You can get fittings and a fuel gauge and sender at a marine supply house like West Marine. Filler neck from a salvage yard. I've had to do a similar project when I added a generator to my fifth-wheel travel trailer.

Heres a thread at FDB covering how one man made his own custom fuel tank to better fill the space giving more fuel at the same time.
