Is anyone running a 6'' rough country lift on an 05-07? I like the kit considering it does convert to 4 link and its relatively inexpensive at $1279
There website says recomended tire size is 37x13.50 The pics on the website looks like it easily clears the 37's. Im debating which tire to get, Im dead set on a mickey thompson in a 15.50 width, however I dont know weather to get the 36x15.50 or 38x15.50. I dont want a tire that looks too big, or has clearance issues with bumper and or fender etc. On the other hand I dont want too small of a tire. Im only looking for unput on 05+ trucks as it seems to me the lift height varys alot between the leaf spring trucks and a coil spring truck like mine. THanks,

Scott

I've got an 8" Fabtech lift, and I would not recomend that you put a 38x15.50 tire on your truck with only 6 inches of lift, it will rub BAD. I have 38.5"x14.50 tires and they rub in tight turns. Anything bigger than 37" you will run into problems, unless you plan on trimming the bumper and rear part of the fender.

Good Luck

I also have the stupid belt squeek but my ford dealership claims they dont hear anything everytime i bring it in. Its really pissing me off

Yupp 33-12.50 on the stock 17'' wheels without any lift at all. I have no doubt you can run those tires without trouble. Mine clear with plenty of room to spare.

You should check out the Fabtech 8" radius arm lift if you really want bigger that 6", it's not to expensive at all, it's when you start adding the reservoir shocks or coilovers and other "goodies" that it starts to get pricey. If you really want a 4 link they have that to, but I'm not sure on the price.
