I have a 2001 excursion that the back door won't even lock with the key. Truck needs new power locks all the way around but i'm baffled as to why i can't lock the rear door.

Yea the lock actuators are cheaply designed and don't last very long, as far as your question is it a passenger door or the rear split gate doors that won't unlock?

Only lock at the back I know of is in the liftgate.

I'm starting to wonder if it was broke into like they break into other doors and break up all the plastic parts. Guess i'm gonna have to take it all apart.

I'm leaning to linkage. Remove the rear inner panel to have a looksee.

On my 2K, one of the plastic linkage retainer clips wore out, linkage arm fell off. no worky.
