ball joints out?

hey guys, checked my ball joints today, found out they are shot.
But only after 10,000 miles?!!! thats not right, they've been greased properly, and are OE Motorcraft ball joints.

or 100,000 miles like it says in your signature..

Moog is the generally accepted replacement, and yes, commonly by 70,000 miles on these trucks..

I also assume you mean 100k....which is about normal. I replaced mine around that time with Spicer ball joints and they lasted almost 175k before I replaced them again recently.

nope (10,000) miles later, i replaced them once already when the truck had 90,000 right after i bought it.

Something is wrong with that picture.....they shouldn't go out that fast. My guess is that somebody didn't get the studs tight.
