Best way to secure storage chest in truck??

Howdy,
I have recently purchased "site safe" from Lowes to put gear in to keep it dry and secure. I am looking for a good way to secure this in the bed of my truck. I know that if someone wants it bad enough that they will get it. I just was to make the task of stealing it more difficult for them.

I have a tool chest mounted to the floor of my bed. I drilled holes through the bed and chest first. Then i ran bolts through the bed from the bottom and threaded a nut on the top. Then i set the chest over the bolts and put on wing nuts from the inside of the chest. This way i can easily remove the box and a potential scum bag cant. I used all stainless hardware as well.

I did 6" carriage bolts thru the box, thru the bed but put a 3" piece of rubber (old mudflap) between the box and bed so it wasn't Metal on Bed liner. Ny-loc nuts & 2" flat washers.. Cinched everything down, then Smacked the bolts over a tad so "they" can't simply un-bolt things. "They'd" halfta work at it.

PIA for me if I wanted to take the box out but..... It and everything in It, is still mine after 8+ years.

One other thing. Don't use keyed padlocks. They drill out very easily. One of the guys had his box drilled and everything was taken (stolen).
