Does anyone have a bad alternator, or a spare alternator for a 6.0?
I'd like to get mine rebuilt, but I don't want to have the truck down for a week or so. "A week?" you ask? Yes, by the time it gets shipped, rewound, shipped back... yeah. a weekm posibly more.
When I get the rebuilt alternator back, I'll send you my good alternator off my truck. There's nothing wrong with it at all, it's currently running just fine. But with 110K on the clock, and since I am a firm believer in PM, I'd like to get it done. That, and this shop can wind them for 300amps. They just did one for one of my lincolns. 250 amps. He could have gone to 300 amps, but that'd be overkill for that application.
Alternately, you could sell it to me.
