more install ?'s ....sorry. i was readint the directions on dieselmanor.com. It says you can drill and tap a location or use the "T" fitting method is not desired. question is are htere any advantages or disadvantages to these methods. truck is an 05 so i have a stock boost gauge but i figured this one would be a little better. but does having the stock one is place change anything on the installation process. sorry for all the ?'s but i like to do things myself but not always confident in my knowledge. thanks-cody

I would use the "T" fitting over drilling the manifold. I'm not sure that there is a disadvantage going this route.

You must drill and tap... otherwise your gauge will flitter at about 10-12#'s boost... I have learned this from over 20 gauge installs...
