boost p.s.i...???

just wondering what everybody else boost numbers are????? since i installed my boost guage, the best i could get is 23, that was even with no exhaust after the cat(cat has been gutted). now since i have installed the cat back exhaust, i can get 25-27 no problem. i wouldn`t have thought having a decent flowing exhaust would make any difference in boost.... ....concidering i ran no exhaust for a bit....but i like it....

At wide open throttle my truck shifts at 27 lbs of boost.

My truck for some reason never gets over 10 on either gauge (stock or Autometer). Also gas mileage has taken a turn for the worse and I just got a CEL. I checked the codes and I got an EGR Flow Insuffecient P0401

Sounds like trouble huh?

Sounds like you need to clean the EGR and I bet your truck will love you again.
