I just bought a Bully Dog Power Pup programmer for my truck. It has a setting for 50; 70; and 120hp. Does anyone know which is the economy setting ?

i would assume that 50 is economy, 70 is tow, and 120 would be your race/performance.

It has 50 listed as tow, 70 listed as performance, and 120 as extreme

Your best mileage is going to be the 70, maybe the 120 if you can keep your foot out of it... Mileage increases with timing

Thanks for the input, I think I'm gonna run with the 70 and see what happens, I had it set on the 120 setting for a quick test drive and the EGT's jump in a hurry when you stomp on it. It also sounds like the motors gonna jump out of the truck, lol.

Timing is good for MPG but bad for CP's...:sweet (cylinder pressures)

I have a 2002 CC 4x drw with the bully dog power pup and I have the same problem most of you have HRFS ( heavy right foot syndrom. ) I get about 15 mpg when I keep mine set at 50 or Tow setting. I have only had it on 70 once, because trailer is always behind the truck, but I would love to see if the milage would increase in one of the other settings.:silly
