busted a leaf in the same rear spring. I am betting that its the same leaf too. 2nd from the bottom.

I am 150 miles from home with a good 500# load in the bed.

tenderfoot it home or try to get it fixed?

replace the spring or just the leaf replaced?

thanks

With only 500# on.. I'd limp it on home.

Yer call but because this is the second time around for the same leaf (?), I'd replace the whole Spring Set. Sounds like the others are going soft.. and the
ONE.. is carrying more, or most of the load ?

The other side might be soon to follow ????

Last time I checked from the dealer new leaf pack was around 250.00. I'd put a new set on the rear.

Old thread so this is for info only, just contacted the dealer for rear sprinjgs on my sd, $300/side.

Buy new rear shackles also unless you want to fight the bottom bolt which is rusted into the metal sleeve inside the bushing in the shackle.
