California Performance Rules??

What's the latest on peformance mods and California's new diesel smog rules?
I'd like to do a couple things to my 02 7.3L but don't want to create problems
for myself.

anything carb compliant is fine, you will have to remove your programer, reinstall your stock air cleaner, as long as you don't have BIG fuel you should be fine, it's a visual component test, and they hook up a diagnostic to the truck for any funky codes, as well as a 3 stage smoke test, which is also visual. Just keep all the stock hardware to reinstall and you will be good....

just as long its c.a.r.b approved it all good don't have to remove any modes if you have c.a.r.b sticker, i have afm intake system & hypertech 6 stage program and both are c.a.r.b approved. just gotta do something about my straight pipes saw a fake muffler on ebay might check into that.
