remove the band clamp completly let it slide down the factory dp
wiggle dp to free it from turbo outlet

a sawzall helps alot to make dp shorter and easier to manuever under truck
it should lift up about 1/2 " then off it comes

forgot HAMMER rubber mallet

We used a rubber mallet at our last mod-party. Whack it from underneath 2-3 times and it will just fall off. :sweet

Spray with your favorite penitrating fluid and while that is working go find a long narrow screw driver and a hammer. Reach around the clamp and find the notched out areas..........this is where your going to place the screw driver tip to give it some love taps. You may think the notches are impossible to reach but keep trying. You will probably have to do it on both sides of the pipe to get it to come loose.

brake cleaner will dry it out...you need something to lube
the bolt/nut on the clap so you can loosen it.

Are you trying to wiggle off the band clamp? Its a clamping wedge mechanism. You will have to whack it pretty good or pry it off the flanges to get it started.

Here is a picture of what they look like-

It should make more sense.
