CB mounting options

I bought some stuff today to my CB from the wrecked 03 into my newer to me 05... I had the CB mounted about the rear-view in my old truck, but my 05 has the factor head console up there... soo give me some ideas?? im thinking I wanna mount it where the bag hook/ash tray thing is.... but I don't know...

I finally went with mounting my CB where you mentioned at the bottom of the dash. Made sure it was far enough over to not interfere with opening and closing the driver side glove box.

yeah thats exactly what i was looking for... did you just utilize the 2 screws that are in the bag hook thing to mount the CB.. and is your power outlet still usable?

I have mine mounted in the same place but I need to move it down an inch so I can use the power point.

I stuck mine on a couple pieces of 2x4 that I cut to the width of the tunnel...
