Hi guys!! I recently installed a 6.7 Powerstroke CCV delete kit from Glacier Diesel on my 2013 6.7. Since putting it on, I’ve been getting a P04DB code about every 50 miles or so. From what I understand, that code means “crankcase vent disconnected.”
Is that pretty typical after doing a 6.7 Powerstroke CCV delete, or did I possibly miss something during the install? Also wondering if it’s safe to keep driving it and just clear the code each time, or if there’s a better fix.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello,
There was an (electrical) connector on the CCV oil separator hose (bottom of intake (see pics, doesn't show in the pictures, since this only affects 2011-2014...Ford did away with the connector in 2015 and up).

You need to take that fitting with connector, cut enough off to reinstall and put the silicone cap over the fitting (after you cut it off). Reconnect the electrical connector and the message will disappear.

The "electrical connector" is identifying ferrous metal (that is all it does) and since it is disconnected, it shows up as "ccv disconnected message". So no, you aren't harming anything, but if you want to get the message to go away, you will need to reconnect.

If the attached pictures aren't enough, I will go out later on and get a picture of the area, which should better show what I am describing.

Here is a picture of the connector installed (red circle) and yellow line identifying the oil separator in bottom of intake.
(Unfortunately the 'moderator' is not allowing this post to appear without 'approval', so by the time you see this, you will have most likely traded your truck in ).

(without the pics, see pic above for clarity)
