There is so much confusion on the net today about single mass, and dual mass flywheels in Ford pickups. It can take even the most knowlegable and confuse the crap out of them.

To make it as simple as it really is, all you have to know is the year of your truck. Pre-1999, and you are running a dual mass from the factory. 1999 and up, and it is a single mass. So, if you have an OBS (1994-1997) truck, it is dual, if you have a superduty body style (1999 and up) it is single.
