WRITEUP:
The conversion is pretty much plug and play
-ALL mounting points are the same
-ALL bulbs except <MAIN HEADLIGHTS> are the same and plugs into each corresponding socket
-Main Headlights can be rewired or use DFuser.com conversion harness
-Harley Davidson Lights even come with bulbs

Tools:
9/32" Socket
Long 6"-8"+ extension
1/4" or 3/8" Ratchet
DFuser.com wire conversion or you could rewire yourself

Here's some pics:

Old ugly worktruck headlight assembly, circles point out mounting points....BOOO!

Black Sealed Beam>Green H13 Aero Lights...if you can't figure it out you deserve to run the work truck lights....JK!

I just compared the work truck lights to a pic of the aero ones. The entire work truck assembly is a one piece frame just like the aero, so I'm assuming both the mounting points are the same. Re-wiring shouldn't be too bad...

It sucks because I don't have another SD to compare it to...maybe I'll buy a set of smoked ones and try it out, if it don't work out selling it shouldn't be too bad...let you know how it goes;tu

It'll be done tomorrow, but mounting points are the same for the aero and the work truck lights....can either cut and splice wires or get adapters from DFtuner...

thanks for the parts Bill;tu

Hey Dave,

I just used that ad for an example of what the aero lights look like...I actually ordered HD lights...they're pictured in post #1:sweet

Ah OK. missed that one.
The lighting of the regular lights is not too bad, but is there some actual drop-in headlights that I could use that would suffice instead of the ford upgrade lighting?
does Hella or Cibie make anything?
