Coolant fluid????

Hey guys just got done last week adding the anti-cativation fluid in but checked the fluid today and its still low. My truck has the green fluid 2000 7.3 was wondering if any special coolant I can add or is water ok???

I usta use any of the the 50/50 pre-mixed coolant that sez it meets the Ford Specs, on the jug. (IIRC, Prestone did)

You can use/add water but it'll dilute the mix ratio, some.

Ever think about switching to the Gold coolant ? I did ;tu. Good stuff.. No additive issues now.:sweet

You might want to use distilled water. Tap water contains minerals that will lead to scale buildup in you'r cooling system. Around here distilled water is around $1 a gallon. Cheap little bit of insurance to help you'r truck live longer. And X2 on what Big Joe said about the gold coolant.
