the diesel power truck i saw dynoed 285 hp and 628lb ft torque.

Yeah I think I remember those numbers from when they first got to test drive one. I was refering to the july issue.
But, the other night I just had to do this. I was coming home from getting pizza for the family, and I decided to take a little detour on a road that hardly anybody uses. This truck is was fast if you just lauch from idle, but in dieselpower they did the 1/4 mile in 4 wheel drive and lauched at 30 psi. So I turn on the road, stopped, turned on 4x4 high, and gave here some fuel till she reached 30 psi. I let off the brake, and man that thing lauched hard, it threw me back in the seat, it was like a bat out of hell.
