I just received a new CPS, Should I go ahead and put the new one in. I dont know when and if its ever been replaced.

No problems right now. But if this would stop me from having a problem on the road later. Whats a good sign that its going out

if a CPS is going bad it will also just shut off as you are riding down the road. Like I said before I would just stick it in the glove box. Some folks never have trouble with them. Mine went south at 110K, I just put in a Blue CPS. I saved the old one for a spare.

why did you save the old one? once they go out are they done for good or can they "come back to life"?

I saved the second one. It was still working fine. I just wanted to upgrade to a BLUE one and I also travel alot with my family and wanted a spare.

cool, I got the grey one. I didnt know there was a blue one.... My new grey one is going in the glove box. Thanks everyone
