Just wondering from anyone who knows or has replaced a crank seal in a 03 F250 w the 7.3 if it is fairly straight forward or is there some tips for making it easy.

Boy do I have a deal for you. I thought mine was leaking so I bought one but it was the rear of the pan and since I was having the clutch replaced on the 01 they just siliconed up the pan and I still have the seal. I think you need a seal driver to install it tho. If you want it PM me.

Look carefully at your engine. Fords are NOT known for leaking crank seals. It happens, but not as often as you might think.

i agree with what everyone else said. double or triple check and verify where its coming from. if it really is that you have one huge job ahead of you. even if its your oil pan and you need to replace the oil pan gasket you got a big job ahead of you. i hope its not either one of those for your sake.
