7.3 have to crank along time before it will start could it be hpop going out it has 300000 miles. Any ideas?

HPOP is gone. You have a LOT of miles so it would not surprise me that it is HPOP time.

It could be anything. Seek professional diagnosis.
How is you oil level otherwise.
Low pressure oil pump feeds the hpop. There is s check valve in there too.
Could be as simple as a $10 part.

dieing batteries, glow plugs, gpr, corroded cables, weak starter, ect....
What he said.. would be the things to check & eliminate first ?
But.. it takes 500 psi HPOP pressure, minimum, to pop the injectors @ start-up. A good Scanner would detect that. (ICP pressure, while cranking)
