Deletes

Howdy all, I am in the proccess of getting a MBRP Single exhaust and I was wondering if I should get a Delete or not. What exactly does a delete do besides add a bit more sound to the truck, does it take off the MBRP muffler? How does it sound and make the turbo sound? Would anyone happen to have a soundclip I am completely in the dark on this so any help would be greatly appricated.

The MBRP "delete" pipe will eliminate the MBRP muffler. I had a straight pipe system (no muffler, no cat) on my 02 7.3 until I changed it to 4 inch duals. The straight pipe was not much louder than my duals but the turbo whistle is was down right awesome. I would install the MBRP system first and see how you like it you can always do the muffler delete after.
