diesel is oil right? so...

If I have an oil gauge with an electronic sender, I should be able to use it for fuel pressure? It pegs at 100 lbs, and I only need 70. so it should work?
Any input appreciated.

Yes I went thru two before I just broke down and installed a regular FP gauge... Theres something in the diesel that breaks down the seals I guess. Maybe its just my bad luck...

Maybe some bad O-rings, could be morton thiocol built your sender unit
