difference between 6 and 8" fabtech

I currently have the 6" basic fabtech on my 05 and from what I can find on the web it appears the 6 and the 8 are not that different except for spring and block sizes. I am wondering if anyone knows any in depth info on this subject. If they are the same i am considering changing out my springs and blocks to make my lift an 8".

Can't help you on this one sure someone can. Been looking at lifts for mine. Since it is time for new tires my as well do it all at the same time.

I'm not 100% certain, but I believe the only difference is the springs and blocks.
If you decide to do it, I would recomend getting an alignment afterwards, as the extra 2 inches might alter some of the geometry
