Well I got the filter changed again. Weird thing is, yesterday I was at 10 in Hg, today it was back at 5 in Hg. One thing is the filter drained like normal diesel flow, but it was about 20 degrees warmer than the other day. But I think I may have gotten most of the crappy stuff burned now that I'm at around half tank.

The arrows show the goop in the pleats. Sorry for the poor quality but those were the best out of about 10 pics. This is the first filter, the filter pulled today doesn't really show the crap in pics.

Antonio,is the changing of the Dahl filter cartridge a pretty straight forward procedure since you're seasoned now.

Looked like waxy chunks or french fry bits?

Wierd stuff. When the Bio fianlly broke loose the crud in my tank it was black and not at all waxy looking. I wonder if that stuff is old and starting to break down. Improperly made bio I've seen usually looks more like snot or barf than wax

Well I guess you could say it kinda looked like snot. It's a whitish waxy substance that kinda looks like the grease left in a frying pan after burger frying.

Take that stuff and suspend it in diesel, thats what the sample I drained from the Dahl looked like. The sample bought from the station yesterday didn't look like that.:dunno

Either way I'm not buying from that station as they don't sell BioWillie product anymore.:(

Antonio--Looks to me that you have a tank  algae :dunno--have seen it in aluminium fuel tanks on commercial fish boats--nothing but filter probs, :cussing:like change the Racor seperator filter daily or else the thing would not run--should be able to get a tank treatment for algae from a Kenworth White or Mack Truck supply store.Hope this helps BC:canuk Robertoh
