Do I need a sealant?

Quick question here. I have new fuel lines that run from the FPR to the heads. The ends have the metal tips on them. My question is do I need to use pipe dope or teflon tape when re-attaching them?

They should be compression fittings, so you shouldnt need to dope or tape them.
