Help Needed Door Locks not working

My automatic door locks usually don't work. Is this something I can fix?
2000 Extended cab 4 door, lock switches and remote work once in awhile, you can hear them trying to work, the actual lock works manually.

like year & trim package on the truck, and what facet of door lock operation you're having trouble with?
