Dumb wheel and tire question??

I'm looking at getting new wheels and tires. My question is there a performance difference between a 35" tire on a 16x10, 17x10, or and 18x10?? I personally don't like the look of the 18x10 on a 35" tire but alot a SuperDuty that I see are going that way.

The only difference I can see between the three wheel sizes is that with each increase in wheel size you will have less tire sidewall which will give a little less comfort to your ride but should increase handling and cornering abilities.
