Hey Guys,

I am getting ready to replace my brakes and rotors all the way around and wanted to find out if you thought it would be OK to go through an automotive store like Advanced Auto, or should I order from the dealership.

BTW, I have a 99 F350 SRW.

Thanks in advance.

I got mine (Raybestos) from Parts Plus.

Most everybody else on here is running some type of cryo-treated rotor...

we had a pretty in-depth and at a couple points, heated, discussion about brake rotors last fall... might want to run a search

Definitely look for last falls posts.

The only other advice I can give is to take your rotors off and take them with you to the store. Have them get everything out for your truck and match them up with you rotors. I had to do this more than once. Keep the part number for later on.

I used Advanced Auto, Autozone all the time.

Everything above..............X2.

Save yourself ALOT of grief.

Set new and old on the counter and look at the diameter and the offset.
