eBay Motors: New Garrett Turbo Application unknown? like Ford 6.0 (item 170190217058 end time Feb-06-08 13:58:14 PST)

Not sure if this was posted before, but what do you guys make of this thing?

strange...has more then one but doesnt know the application ?
it looks like a VGT for the 6.0L...the oil based solenoid that he doesnt
know about is for the Vane Actuation...and its what makes me
sure its for a 6.0L

I just wonder about the true condition of it. For $300 it wouldn't be bad for a spare, or a toy. It's the 13 blade driven side, so it's an earlier unit.

Guess the question is what all could be wrong with it, and how much would it really take to fix it?

short of it having fins missing, torn apart VGT vanes and
needing a complete set of bearings...theres not much to
go wrong w/ these things.

I got one from him and it was a new '06 turbo by the part number. Clean and never installed. $200 for a backup plan, I can't complain.

makes it easy to swap in and out, like a spare set of brake rotors....
