EBPV and sensor Q

After being able to read some codes with the Edge EVO, I continue to get a P0470 exhaust pressure sensor malfunction, just by turning the key on(KOEO). I disconnected the op-rod for the valve and it (the valve) was "sticky" so my question is, If I do the EBPV delete as per the WIKI article, what do I do with the sensor and the wires? I dont think leaving a link to the PCM just hanging is a good idea but I am always listenening.
