The 6.0 engine DOES NOT have a "lot" of leaking rear seals; no more than any other engine. Many people have been spreading this rumor and it is NOT TRUE!

Mine actually did have a rear main leak, as well as a leak on what the service writer called the 'rear engine cover.' Not sure what that is, but both were covered by the powertrain warranty, so it wasn't too bad. I also had an exhaust leak on the driver's side somewhere. All fixed for the $100 deductible.
I'm glad that all of this was covered by the warranty, but with only 44k miles, I was very dissapointed to find out the leak was from the rear main. It's been replaced now though, so hopefully no more issues for at least a couple of years.

I ordered a River City Diesel EGR delete kit yesterday and it should be here this weekend.
