EGR problem on 05 6.0

I have a friend that is having problems with the egr clogging on bio?
His egr has been off with my programmer, but he's getting a clog all of the sudden. It sucks, the power goes right out the window. It has to be removed and cleaned and then we are back to running like a raped ape! Has anyone welded the egr to not open? Keith

I've heard of a few welding it open, but if you just get a block plate for the up pipe that should help alot too. Plus it's reversible

I know some people have cut, and welded the EGR. If anyone has pics could you please post them? Thanks, Keith
